    Electrostatic Disinfection vs. Traditional Cleaning

People are becoming more and more aware of how they clean and what they clean with. This means that they’re looking for more than just better cleaning supplies, which should kill higher rates of bacteria. They’re looking for better ways of cleaning. This means improving habits of how often and how people clean.

For many people who want to improve their cleaning habits, they may not necessarily know how to. That’s why it’s important for them to consider the difference between electrostatic disinfection and traditional cleaners.

    Electrostatic Disinfection

Choosing electrostatic disinfection is a great way to effectively kill all bacteria from surfaces that are frequently touched. Furthermore, it’s known to be much more thorough than many cleaners can afford to be. It works by spraying a mist over surfaces. This mist is an electrically charged micron particle of disinfectant chemicals. As it is sprayed onto a surface, it envelops the entirety of the surface, making it more effective than traditional cleaners.

To use an electrostatic disinfectant, you will need a specialized spray gun. This spray gun, in turn, does a few different things for you. For one, it makes it easier to maneuver around difficult surfaces. Think about the machines and weights at a gym. Those are irregularly shaped, large, and difficult to clean. However, there are a ton of people who use them every day. This means that traditional cleaning products may not be thorough like this gun for electrostatic disinfection can. It also makes cleaning large areas go much quicker. After all, spraying and wiping down surfaces over a large area can take a lot of time, which this will prevent.

All of this contributes to a lot of benefits behind using electrostatic disinfection. Not only is it quicker, but it’s more effective at killing and stopping the spread of germs. This means that you can be happy in the knowledge that you’re as prepared as possible against the spread of diseases.

    Traditional Cleaning

Your home is probably full of traditional cleaning supplies – bleach, disinfectant wipes, and other sprays. Getting into the habit of using them is certainly a good thing too. It’s just that in many cases you’re probably not getting the most out of them. Think about the last time you would have wiped down your counter. Many people would have just gone quickly over it to say that they cleaned the space. Other times you might focus your energy on a stain while working your way around other things on the counter.

All of this amounts to one thing. You’re likely to have missed spots while cleaning, or not cleaned other areas as thoroughly as you should have. Furthermore, if you just spray and quickly wipe down a counter, then you’re liable to have not let the cleaners do their work properly. This means that they’re not killing all the bacteria on your counter and there is still a chance that disease spreads either due to the lack of thorough cleaning or the simple fact you wiped it away.

The other hassle of using these traditional cleaners is that they take longer than simply spraying and moving on from the surface. In other words, they take longer to use, only to clean less. That’s not ideal for anyone.

The truth is that all cleaning and disinfecting is a good thing. However, just like anything else in life, there are better variations of cleaning. Electrostatic disinfection is that better form of cleaning. It’s quicker, more effective, and easier to do than using traditional cleaning products. This makes it a no-brainer for anyone looking to stop the spread of germs in their home.
